Sabrina Salerno, 15 March 1968, Genoa, Italy. This late 80s disco pop diva briefly challenged the former UK "page three model"-turned-pop singer Samantha Fox as Europe's favourite pop sex symbol. After appearing on a number of television shows in her native Italy, Sabrina launched her singing career with the European hit "Sexy Girl". Her major chart hit was in the summer of 1988 with "Boys (Summertime Love)", which was a big hit throughout Europe and reached UK number 3.
